Fees & Terms and Conditions

*Fees are subject to a yearly review. They generally average approx 5% (though this is a guide and may change without notice)

Our fees are calculated to reflect our running cost / equipment/material and staff to support our RMS ethos.

Please contact our Rainbow Head Office (call : 0207 328 8986 or email rms@rainbowmontessori.co.uk to obtain the most current fee schedule).

Attendance at our Nurseries

Rainbow accepts children from 2 years old and offers both morning and afternoon sessions. We do require a child of 2 years old to attend a minimum of three sessions per week.

From age 3, children must attend a minimum of 5 sessions per week.

Early Education Funding (EEF)

We do participate in the 3- and 4-year-old – 15 hours only scheme only.

We do not offer funding for 2 years old or take part in funding of any 30 hours (2 year olds or 3 year olds).

Every 3 & 4 year old child is entitled to 15 hours free nursery education per week  (EEF).

A child qualifies for the EEF a term AFTER their third birthday until the beginning of the term AFTER their fifth birthday – so before they reach compulsory school age.

A child who turns 3 for EEF 3&4 is eligible between:

1 September and 31 December is eligible for a funded place from the following 1 January (Spring term)

1 January and 31 March is eligible for a funded place from the following 1 April (Summer term)

1 April and 31 August is eligible for a funded place from the following 1 September (Autumn term)

For example, if your child turns 3 in January 2024, the funded hours will apply from April 2024.

We will automatically claim this funding at the appropriate time for parents and it will be reflected on your termly fee invoice.

Rainbow teaches Montessori on a termly basis with a minimum of 5 sessions per week once a child has turned 3 years old.

Rainbow’s ethos is built around the Montessori Method of education and as such strongly advocates that children over the age of 3 years old attend a minimum of 5 sessions (am or pm) in order that a child can fully benefit from the environment in our nurseries and the morning and/or afternoon Montessori work cycle.

Attendance on the above terms will incur our usual fees in addition to the 15 hours free entitlement.

It is important to us to be able to offer funded hours, however Government funding alone is not sufficient to cover all our running costs.

However, it is possible to apply for Free Entitlement only Places (FEOP). These places are available on a limited timetable and are subject to availability/spaces. see FEOP

Payment Methods

There are many different types of child care funding available, some of which may offer ways to reduce your costs.

Childcare Vouchers (CCV’s)

We accept most employer childcare vouchers. If parents would like to use CCV’s, please let us know the name of your voucher company so we can check if we are registered with them. If it is a new company we will exchange the relevant information to register.
